Who likes blue? I like blue! Why do I like blue? I don't know. Maybe because my eyes are blue. I present to you, in no particular order, my seven favorite shades of blue. Enjoy! The RGB values are displayed over each color. 1. 41:84:152This blue is a blue very special to my heart. It's the blue used in the Microsoft Word program. As an English major, I spend a lot of time in this program, so the color is near and dear to my heart. 2. 0:172:237Anyone know where this blue comes from? Twitter! I've always been a fan of blues that don't use any reds. Twitter is one of those. Quality color. 3. 64:99:150This one is a little darker than other blues, but not too dark. Something you'd wear a shirt of maybe. Like, a water tone, but still somehow welcoming. 4. 54:70:93This blue is fairly faded. It's almost grayish in a way. Calming. It has very equal levels of red, green and blue, but it still remains very blue at first glance. This is the blue used by Tumblr. 5. 210:219:233This is a very faint blue. Like a sky blue, but even lighter. This is the blue that is used as the background color in MS Paint, another program that is near and dear to my heart. 6. 0:80:160Do you recognize this blue? This is the blue used by Hilary Clinton's campaign. Notice the lack of any red (compensating for political alignment controversy maybe?), and the rounded numbers. It does a good job representing her political personality, and is a very American blue. 7. 59:89:152Who can talk about blue without including Facebook? This is Facebook's blue. Classic!
