This Was A Lot Funnier In My Head

I tried, folks.

So I knew I had to do something with this book because it's so hot right now, but after I put it together I think it worked better in my head.

Like, a couple of things may have gone wrong here.

• In the original, his face bleeds across the edges. My pear does not, and frankly if it did the fact that it's a pear would be lost.
• Red pears are a thing but they aren't as iconic as a green pear, so like, this looks like a strawberry.
• Nothing about a pear adds to the conversation, so I'm truly relying on the punwork.
• The eyes give it an 'annoying orange' vibe that I can't shake.
• I couldn't think of anything to do with the name 'bob woodward' other than 'bot the tomato' but that would also be moving it away from the pear-direction.

I tried.
