FAQ
Q: Why do you have an FAQ?
A: Great question. So as it turns out, Google Adsense sends robots to your website to see if it's appropriate for ad coverage. If they don’t see enough text, your application is disapproved.
Q: Wait, so this is literally just fictionalized fluff?
A: Essentially, yes this is fictionalized fluff.
Q: Wait, why are you trying to run Google Adsense on your site?
A: Well, this site, above all else, is a portfolio of my works. It's a stable link that I can provide people without having to give some obnoxious google drive link.
Q: Then why run ads on it?
A: I think the idea of actually owning a real big-kid domain name would be cool, but that costs a small amount of money every month. So ideally I'd like the site to generate that small amount and be self-sufficient.
Q: So you're note trying to scam your friends and family with ads?
A: No, but if I could make enough to get a cat, that'd also be cool.
Q: Wait, so the massive amounts of text that you have on the blog page, those really don't cover the basis for Google Adsense?
A: No. The algorithm allegedly works on a page to page basis.
Q: Is that why all the more image-heavy pages have like, disjointed paragraphs of text hiding out here and there?
A: Correct.
Q: Doesn't that like ruin your aesthetic?
A: I'm trying to find a way to work it in, but a bit, yes.
Q: Wow, I learned a lot today. Do you think this will be enough text to beat the algorithm?
A: I truly hope so.
