Jane Eyre Comics
Notes On:
Jane Eyre Comics
I read Jane Eyre in high school and once again in college during my Victorian Literature course. For a couple of days I wanted to see if I could emulate that tracing style of comic art, so this is what happened. I think they're quality.
Maze Art
So I literally make these mazes with MS Paint and I will forever be proud of that. I zoom into the pixel level and just go ham with it. I like to make mazes that are aesthetically pleasing but also a little brain frying with geometric patterns and shapes. They vary in size and difficulty. I encourage everyone to print and try them.
Pixel Tarot Deck
This took me a year to complete (also using MS Paint). I set out just having a good ol' time, and then got more into it. The pixel style was originally a cop out for having to do anything complicated, but as it turns out, fitting 10 visually discernible swords in that few pixels is actually really really hard. This is my go-to deck now.
Playable Tarot
In addition to the deck, I'm putting together a book of games that you can play with the tarot pack. (Fun fact, the tarot pack was initially just a pack of playing cards before it got steeped in mysticism. It's like my life goal to get people to start using the as playing cards again). The book is going to have old traditional games, modified games from ones that use a contemporary deck, and some original games. This deck features standard bridge sized cards, and resemble the contemporary deck with the symbols in the upper corners for hand viewing. Still in progress.
